Whenever you've finished a Phase in NEXT, it's time for reflection and planning. Therefore, we recommend Teams to organize a Phase Planning & Phase-end Retrospective meeting. The meeting generally takes about 1 hour and should be initiated by the Team Lead.
Key agenda items:
- Phase-end Retrospective - discuss what worked well and didn't work well during the last phase. Have we worked together effectively? What can we improve?
- Assess Workload & Divide - Determine which Tasks you will perform of each of the Steps in the NEXT phase, estimate the expected workload, and divide work among your team members.
- Schedule Steps & Tasks in NEXT - Go into the application to schedule all Steps & Tasks of the upcoming phase as planned.
To help you organize and lead the Phase Planning & Phase-end Retrospective meetings more effectively, you can download our "Phase Planning Cheat Sheet". Use our "Workload Overview" to determine which Tasks to perform in each Step of a Phase and estimate the workload.
