During an innovation Project, a team of up to nine (but usually three to six) people will research and design a solution to a problem that exists in their organization or business.
The outcome of any innovation project is a Venture Canvas, which is a solution proposal that builds a strong case for your sponsor’s support. Building up your canvas will take a lot of work — you want it to look as attractive as possible! You want to be chosen! You want to be the one!
Sound complicated? No worries — projects are broken into logical, manageable bits called “phases,” “tasks,” and “missions.” You will see all of these on your project’s Timeline. You can also read about them here, in our lovely glossary. Its pages are always open!
Before starting a project, your team must create a project brief.
