Sensing is the first phase of the Creation Flow. During this phase, your team will come to understand your users by talking to them, observing them, and using your intuition to help you understand your problem through users’ eyes. Sensing requires you to ask a lot of questions. Like, a lot, a lot. So better warm up your voice (and brain).
The Sensing phase is an exploration, during which you’ll try to discover weak signals, new perspectives, and user needs that your user might not have told you. Your exploration will also let you define a Target User. With a Target User, your team will choose the Insights and User Needs that are most relevant to your project, and combine them into your Creative Question. The Creative Question is a way of narrowing down your project brief into an original, user-oriented perspective.
